SMWS needs your help with the upcoming cold snap to be able to continue with a supply of water. If you must drip your tap, please make it only a DRIP! Please turn off the drip as soon as temperatures rise above freezing. Make any repairs to broken lines as soon as possible. Please locate your shut off valve NOW so you will be prepared for an emergency!
If you have a camp or vacant home please go NOW and turn off water and drain the pipes. During hard freezes lines break and no one notices causing a strain on the water system.
Please CONSERVE water Sunday and Monday and Tuesday Many will drip the water, so please wash clothes etc. BEFORE the freeze or after things return to normal. If you see a leak contact the owner and let them know. If you can't locate the owner please call the office at 985-384-7721
